A renowned eye surgeon by profession, Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rahman is unanimously elected to head Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan as president for the current term. He has served as Senior Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation during the previous term.He whole heartedly believes that relief work and service to humanity is merely not an option, but an incumbent duty to be carried out by all.Currently he is also Vice Dean of Peshawar Medical College. He had served as President, Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), at present he is Secretary General of Federation of Islamic Medical Association (FIMA). Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rahman has extensively travelled to Africa, Middle East and Europe for humanitarians and Relief work.
Muhammad Abdus Shakoor
(Secretary General)
Muhammad Abdus Shakoor is an educationist by profession. He has a master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the USA, as well as a degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Punjab. He actively participated in ICNA’s (Islamic Circle of North America) activities while in USA and served as its Secretary General as well. During his student life he was elected as Secretary General of Punjab University Students Union and later on as its president.
He is founder Chairman of Alfalah Scholarship Scheme a well known N.G.O which is providing scholarships to needy but talented students throughout Pakistan. He has established wisdom House, a renowned institution for girls education in rural areas of Gujrat and now heads this institution as its C.E.O.
Ehsan Ullah Qureshi
(Assistant Secretary)
Mr. Ehsan Ullah Qureshi is a businessman running bookstore outlets in several cities of Pakistan. He has previously worked with various national and multinational companies at senior positions in human resources and administration departments, in the telecommunications sector, for more than twenty years. His impressive performance in field operations activities during the tragedies of the 2005 earthquake and the devastating 2010 and 2011 floods are universally lauded by his collegues at AlKhidmat Foundation, as well as the vast number of people who received assistance due to his hard work. He has previous held the position of Secretary General, as well as thatof President, at AlKhidmat Foundation Islamabad.
Faiz-ul-bari (Secretary Finance)
Mr. Faiz-ul-Bari has long experience in matters related to finance. He has worked in finance and accounts related positions for a number of years at several prominent organizations, such as Izhar (Pvt) Ltd. Lahore, and NASA Construction Ltd. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the longest stint - 24 - years as Manager Finance at Mycon (Pvt.) Ltd. Lahore. He has also held the honorable position of Secretary Finance,as well as having held the prestigious position of Administrator and Secretary of the Governing Body, Surayya Azeem Hospital, Lahore, for a period of three years.
