During earthquake in 2005 & crisis of IDPs in Swat & Malakand Alkhidmat actively participated in relief &
rehabilitation programs. During recent flood in 2010 Alkhidmat tremendously contributed in rescue operations
& shifted thousands of affected families to relief camps and provided them food , shelter & medical facilities.
During the crisis thousands of childrens were rendered homeless and became orphans. Alkhidmat foundation established first orphanages in Attock to provide immediate shelter to over 210 orphans and since then it is being run successfully.
Aghosh Orphan Complex Murree Pakistan
Pursuing the same cause Alkhidmat foundation Pakistan has planned to establish 2nd orphanage in Murree which will include school, college and educational institute for orphans from all over Pakistan specially accommodating calamity hit areas. It would be the extension of Orphan support series programme planned to be launched in the entire country.
Location
Aghosh Murree is located on main Murree Express way about 35 Km from Islamabad. It is a picturesque hill resort with moderate temperature and a great attraction for the tourists.

Acquisition Of land
10,000 square meters has been purchased. A boundry wall has been constructed and a site office/residence has been established.
Project Brief
Academic Block
An academic block consisting of Class rooms, Labs, Administrative office, Conference room etc catering for 540 students extendable to 720 students has been planned. The capacity of each class room would be ranging from 30 to 35 students only.
Hostels
Two Hostel buildings accommodating of 500 orphans have been designed. Which will include: Bed Rooms, Common rooms, Parents/Visitor’s room, Dining area, Indoor games room and warden residence etc.
Shopping Complex
A small shopping mall has also been designed to cater for the immediate needs of daily life, i.e.,Tuck, Tailoring, Drycleaning, Barber & Fruit / vegetable shop , Grocery, & Dispensary.
Residential Block
Residential block has been designed for principle and staff . This will facilitate to have a better management in this complex .
Masjid
Aghosh student will have their own masjid which will accomendate 800 worshipers. This Masjid will open for outsiders as well.Total covered area of Masjid is 8,900 sft
Islamic Center
Spacious auditorium has been designed for religious oblic moral grooming of the students. Total covered area of Islamic Center is 14,000 sft.
Medical Complex
In order to ensure best health care facilities for orphans and local population, a Basic Health Unit consisting of 10 beds has been designed to provide immediate Medical Support. Total covered area of Medical Complex is 13,800 sft.
The total project is estimates Rs.510 Millions equivalent to £3million Pound Sterling.
Approval Status
Submission drawings for approval from concerned authorities were deposited & NOCs from the following departments have already been awarded. TMA, Forest Department Murree, National High way Authority, Building Department Murree, Soil conservation Department Murree
