AKF Sindh distributed gifts among deserving Hindu community on the eve of Diwali 2017 at Hindu Community Center “Dharamshala”. A Water Cooler was also donated to the center. Mr. Ehsan Ullah Waqas, Vice President AKFP, Mr. Khair Muhammad, Director Disaster Management, Mr. Shankar Lal, Member Minority Desk and Dr. Dharam Paul, Hindi Panchayat President were among the guests.

Tando Adam: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Sindh chapter distributed as many as 15 wheelchairs among needy and deserving physically challenged persons in Tando Adam. The wheelchairs were provided in collaboration with Free Wheelchairs Mission. On the occasion, President AKFP Tando Adam chapter Syed Tauheed Shah, Chairmen Municipal Corporation Masroor Ahsan Ghouri and JI’s Abdul Qafoor Ansari were also present.
Mithi: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan distributed Ramadan Food Packages among as many as 100 needy and deserving families of Tharparkar, Sindh. 100 copies of the Holy Quran were also given away at a local mosque on the occasion. The project was sponsored by Turkish NGO Yardimeli.
Each food package includes Rice, wheat flour, sugar, cooking oil and dry ration for the use of a family for a duration of one month approximately. The distribution of Ramadan Food Packages has been undertaken under Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Community Service program. More than 760,000 people including minorities benefited from this program in 2016.
Karachi: Former Test Cricketer and Test Captain of Pakistan, Mr. Younas Khan visited Alkhidmat Fareeda Yaqoob Hospital Karachi. He visited all the facilities of the hospital and met with the staff and patients for their feedback. He asked the patients regarding services provided by the hospital. He appreciated the work done by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and said that Alkhidmat is serving the humanity in real manner.
Khairpur: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Sindh chapter is all set to organize a charity dinner in Khairpur to raise funds for AKFP Orphan Care Program. The event is scheduled on Friday (April 7) at Shadi Qila, near NLC, National Highway Khairpur. Apart from central and local officials of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, renowned writer Akhter Abbas, famous Sindhi artists: Wahid Raza, Sabir Qureshi and Rasheed Charan will also be present on the occasion. Kandhkot: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan arranged a charity dinner in Kandhkot, Sindh to raise funds for construction of Alkhidmat Mother and Child Healthcare Center (MCHC) Kandhkot. The MCHC will comprise of general operation theater, eyes operation theater, diagnosing laboratory, daycare center and a 10-bed general ward for the patients.
Renowned TV artists Wahid Raza Baloch and Rasheed Charan appeared at the charity dinner while President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Abdus Shakoor and Meer Malguzar Khan were also present on the occasion. Renowned writer Akhter Abbas performed the stage secretary at the event. Other participants also included Dr Huzoor Bux Soomor, Nassem Ansari, Khair Muhammad Tanyo, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kashmor and other locals.
A total amount of Rs. 4.5 million was raised at the charity dinner to construct Alkhidmat Mother and Child Healthcare Center (MCHC) Kandhkot. It may also be noted that Rs. 15 million will be required to implement the project.
Ghotki: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan distributed the loan cheques worth Rs. 280,000 among as many as 8 needy persons in Daharki, Ghotki to help them improve their businesses. On the occasion, each individual received a Cheque of Rs. 35,000 as a loan.
The project was undertaken by the Mawakhat Program of the AKFP. President AKF Ghotki Muhammad Zeeshan was also present.
Tharparkar: Alkhidmat Mawakhat Program in collaboration with UK Islamic Mission disbursed Interest Free Loans worth Rs. 980,000/- among 28 individuals of Tharparkar, Sindh. During a cheque distribution ceremony, Hafiz Ayyub Charo, President AKF Tharparkar handed over cheques to the heads of needy families. Hafiz Ayyub Charo said that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is playing a vital role in the rural development by empowering the locals through entrepreneurial interventions.
