School Bags, Educational Kits Distributed At CPC, Gujranwala

Gujranwala: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Punjab chapter distributed school bags along with educational kits among the street children of Child Protection Center, Gujranwala. Mr Javed Iqbal, President Alkhidmat Foundation Gujranwala chapter and Mr Kahild Sheikh, President Alkhidmat Foundation Gujranwala (Rural chapter) were also present on the occasion. The bags and kits were donated by a Lahore-based family.

It is also worth mentioning here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is currently running as many as 11 Child Protection Centers across Pakistan for the rehabilitation and educational training of street children and so far hundreds of students have joined formal educational institutions after rehabilitation at these centers.

Eid Gifts Distributed Among Orphan Children In Multan

Multan: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in collaboration with UK Islamic Mission (UKIM) has successfully distributed Eid Gifts among orphan children in Multan. More than 60 orphan families benefited.

At the gifts distribution, Muhammad Ahmad Chughtai (Senior Vice President AKFP Multan chapter), Justice (retired) Zafar Yaseen, Waseem Ul Haq Rimzi (District Officer Health Multan), Afzaal Mughal and Dr. Wali Muhammad (General Secretary AKFP Multan chapter) were present while families of the orphan children were also invited.

Grand Iftar dinner was also served among participant at the end of the Eid Gifts distribution ceremony.

AKFP Arranges Iftar Dinner, Eid Gifts Distribution Ceremony In Lahore

Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan arranged mega iftar dinner in Lahore’s Township area on Saturday. A large number of orphan children, needy families and residents of old age homes attended the dinner.

Alkhidmat Foundation President Abdus Shakoor was chief guest at the event while top and local representatives of the AKFP were also present on the occasion. Eid gifts were also distributed among participants by distinguished volunteers of Alkhidmat.

At the end of event, children also enjoyed magic show, mehndhi stalls and sky lanterns.

AKFP Arranges Health Screening Camp For 350 Orphans

Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in collaboration with Patient Benevolent Society arranged a free medical checkup and health screening camp for orphan children at Lahore’s Sheikh Zayed Hospital. Ahmad Jamil Rashid (Assistant Secretary General AKFP) administered the medical camp while President Patient Benevolent Society Dr. Shahid Iqbal was also present on the occasion. As many as 350 orphan children were examined and provided with free medicines at the camp.

A team of 60 medics including doctors, nurses and paramedical staff, and a dedicated team of AKFP Volunteers performed duties at the medical camp.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahmad Jamil Rashid said the AKFP Orphan Care Program is taking care of as many as 450 orphan children in Lahore. Under this sponsorship the orphans are provided with free education, food, healthcare and other basic facilities.

Dr. Shahid Iqbal also admired the Orphan Care Program of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in an interaction with the newsmen and parents of the orphan children. Refreshment was also served at the end of the medical camp.

Rs. 7.2 Million Funds Raised At Multan Charity Dinner

Multan: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan raised more than Rs. 7.2 million funds for Orphan Care Program at Multan Charity Dinner held on Thursday night. Famous poets Salman Gilani and Zahid Fakhri were chief guests while AKFP Senior Vice President Syed Ihsanullah Waqas was also present on the occasion. A large number of locals and AKFP workers attended the event.

Gujrat: More than Rs. 10 million funds were raised for Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan at Gujrat Donor Conference held on Wednesday night. Additionally, land worth Rs.25 million was also donated by the generous locals.

Rs.25 Million Funds Raised At Lahore Charity Dinner

Lahore: More than Rs. 25 Million were raised for Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Orphan Care Program at Lahore Donner Conference. People from various fields of life participated in the event while renowned cricketer Inzamaul Haq, Mushtaq Ahmad and Waseem Haider were chief guests.

On the occasion, Inzamaul Haq also donated his bat to the AKFP which was sold for Rs. 4.5 lakh. Mushtaq Ahmad and Waseem Haider also donated their player of the year trophy and shirt which were auctioned against Rs. 7.5 lakh and Rs. 3.5 lakh respectively.

AKFP Arranges Thalassemia Awareness Lecture, Walk At PU

Lahore: As the World Thalassemia Day is to be marked on May 8, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Volunteers Management desk  arranged an awareness lecture and walk at University of the Punjab’s Agriculture Department to highlight the key reason behind spread of Thalassemia. A large number of students, faculty members and young activists attended the lecture. On the occasion, AKFP Secretary General Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat also addressed the participants.

It may also be noted here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan runs a nationwide network of Thalassemia Centers, Blood Banks and Diagnostic Centers to help needy and deserving Thalassemia patients with the best healthcare facilities.

AKFP, CPRT Organize Annual Prize & School Kits Distribution Ceremony For Street Children in Lahore

Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in collaboration with Child Protection & Rehabilitation Trust organized Annual Prize & School Kits Distribution Ceremony at Children Library Complex, Lahore. More than 150 registered street children from all Child Protection Centers of the Districted participated in the ceremony.

Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat , Secretary General AKFP, Dr. Munir Ahmad,  Chairman CPRT and Dr. Aftab Ahmad , President CPRT participated in the event as Chief Guests. They distributed School Kits and Prizes among the children and said that these children are the future of the nation. They appreciated the work done by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan for bringing the light of education in the life of these street children.
