University Students Visit Aghosh Homes In Murree, Mansehra and Attock

Murree: A group of Alkhidmat Volunteers hailing from University of the Pubjab, Superior University, FAST University, CIIT Lahore, Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Children Hospital and CMH Lahore visited different projects of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan including Aghosh Alkkhidmat Murree, Aghosh Alkhidmat Mansehra and Aghosh Alkhidmat Attock. The students were accompanied by the AKFP officials.

During the visit, the university students met with orphan children residing at the orphanages and also participated in a number of activities arranged by the local administrators. The visitors praised the services of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in general and Aghosh Homes in particular.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is catering the educational, residential and recreational needs of over 700 orphan children at as many as 8 Aghosh Homes across the country. Four new Aghosh Homes including an orphanage in Murre which will have a capacity of 700 children are currently under construction. Meanwhile 6,200 another orphan children are sponsored under Orphan Family Support program.

AKFP Women Wing Ambassadors Visit Aghosh Alkhidmat Sheikupura

Sheikhupura: As many as 18 ambassadors of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Women Wing visited Aghosh Alkhidmat Sheikupura and met with the orphan children residing at the orphanage. The visiting delegation was led by AKFP WW President Talat Zaheer and Kalsoom Ranjha (Secretary General, AKFP WW).
On the occasion, AKFP Volunteers Management Program arranged special orientation session for the visitors to brief them about facilities being provided to the orphans and other projects being undertaken by AKFP Women Wing.
A detailed medical checkup of orpahn children was also carried out by a Volunteer Doctor. Afterwards, volunteers celebrated the birthday of an orphan and ate lunch with the orphan children.
Earlier, before departure to Aghosh Alkhidmat Sheikhupura, the volunteers and officials of AKFP Women Wing also held a meeting with AKFP president Abdus Shakoor and AKFP Secretary General Dr. Mushtaq Mangat at Lahore Head Office.

AKFP Secretary General Mushtaq Mangat Reviews Aghosh Alkhidmat Gujranwala Construction Work

Gujranwala: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Secretary General Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat has visited Aghosh Alkhidmat Gujranwala, under-construction orphanage of the AKFP, and reviewed progress in ongoing work. The project is stretched at an area over 6 kanal and expected to be completed in September this year.

During the visit, the officials overseeing the construction work briefed the Secretary General about facilities which will be available to the orphan children at the orphanage. He expressed his satisfaction towards the work progress and efforts of the workers.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is currently running 8 orphan homes in different cities of Pakistan where more than 700 orphan children are being provided with educational, residential and recreational facilities. Four more such projects are under construction while 5 orphanages are in planning phase. In a separate program, Orphan Family Support Program, the AKFP is sponsoring more than 6,200 orphan children.

AKF Multan Arranges Eid Milan Party For Orphan Families

Multan: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Multan chapter organized Eid Milan Party for orphan children and their families at Chaman Zar Askri (Lake). Senior Vice President AKF Multan Muhammad Ahmad Chughtai, Tayyab Sheikh (Vice President AKF Multan) and Mr.Farhal Malik (Coordinator Orphan Care Program Multan) were present on the occasion. Mehndi stall, magic show, swings and meal were were arranged for the participants.

It may also be noted here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Orphan Care Program is currently sponsoring over 7,200 orphan children across the country by providing them with educational, residential and recreational facilities.

Pakistan’s Champions Trophy Star Fakhar Zaman Visits Aghosh Alkhidmat Attock

Attock: Famous cricketer Fakhar Zaman, who hammered a ton to ensure Pakistan’s victory against India in ICC Champions Trophy 2017, visited Aghosh Alkhidmat Attock and met with the orphan children residing at the orphanage. The cricketer also spent some time with the children and shared his stories of life with them. Later on, Fakhar Zaman also signed a cricket bat for the orphans of Aghosh Alkhidmat Attock.

Aghosh Alkhidmat Attock is one of the around a dozen operational orphanages of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan which collectively cater the residential, educational and recreational needs of 700 orphan children.

Rs. 7.2 Million Funds Raised At Multan Charity Dinner

Multan: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan raised more than Rs. 7.2 million funds for Orphan Care Program at Multan Charity Dinner held on Thursday night. Famous poets Salman Gilani and Zahid Fakhri were chief guests while AKFP Senior Vice President Syed Ihsanullah Waqas was also present on the occasion. A large number of locals and AKFP workers attended the event.

Gujrat Donor Conference Shines With Rs.10 Million Funds, Land Donations

Gujrat: More than Rs. 10 million funds were raised for Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan at Gujrat Donor Conference held on Wednesday night. Additionally, land worth Rs.25 million was also donated by the generous locals.

Renowned poets Amjad Islam Amjad and Khalid Masood were chief guests while Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan President Abdus Shakoor was also present at the event. A large number of AKFP officials, donors and locals participated in the charity dinner.

Rs.25 Million Funds Raised At Lahore Charity Dinner

Lahore: More than Rs. 25 Million were raised for Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Orphan Care Program at Lahore Donner Conference. People from various fields of life participated in the event while renowned cricketer Inzamaul Haq, Mushtaq Ahmad and Waseem Haider were chief guests.

On the occasion, Inzamaul Haq also donated his bat to the AKFP which was sold for Rs. 4.5 lakh. Mushtaq Ahmad and Waseem Haider also donated their player of the year trophy and shirt which were auctioned against Rs. 7.5 lakh and Rs. 3.5 lakh respectively.

Alkhidmat Foundation Gifts Eidi To Orphan Children & Their Teachers

Lahore, 04-07-2016:  Alkhidmat Foundation held an Eidi distribution ceremony at Bethak School Baghrian. 262 school children and school teachers were gifted Eidi on behalf of Alkhidmat Foundation—a tradition Alkhidmat Foundation has kept alive for years. Syed Ehsan Ullah Waqas (Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation) participated in the ceremony was the chief guest along with local administration of Alkhidmat Foundation and a large number of students and teachers. Mr. Waqas said that he was pleased to share Eid’s joys on behalf of Alkhidmat Foundation with orphan children and their teachers.  Note that Bethak schools were made by Alkhidmat Foundation and thousands of children benefit from these schools.
