Multan: Dr. Safdar Iqbal Hashmi, President AKF Multan visited Mr. Azam Temuri, RPO Multan at his office. Dr. Safdar briefed all running and completed projects of Alkhidmat Foundation in Multan. Mr. Azam Temuri requested him to initiate a free medical and diagnostic camp for the police department. Dr. Safdar assured him that a free medical and diagnostic camp for the screening of police officials will be arranged soon.
Maleer, Karachi: Due to Chikungunya viral disease spread in Khokhara Par in Maleer, Alkhidmat Foundation Karachi arranged a medical camp at Kausar Town, Maleer. More than 100 patients were given free medical checkup and medicine to avoid any catastrophic situation due to Chikungunya viral infection
Lahore: According to a report presented in Senate, some 80% Pakistanis are forced to drink unhygienic or contaminated water and the situation remains worst in interior Sindh especially Tharparkar. Taking notice of the situation, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and Askari Bank Private Limited haved joined hands to install as many as 13 new community hand-pumps in the district of Tharparkar.
A delegation of Askari Bank led by Dr. Muhammad Tahir Mansoori (Resident Shariah Board Member) on Thursday (December 15, 2016) visited the head office of Alkhidmat Foundation in Lahore, where the both organizations singed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect.
Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, Senior Vice President AKF Pakistan, AKF Pakistan Secretary General Dr. Mushtaq Mangat, Fahd Sardar Khan (Country Head-IBSD, Askari Bank) and Muhammad Aleem Hasan (Head Shariah Compliance, Askari Bank) represented their respective organizations at the MoU signing ceremony.
National Director AKF Pakistan Clean Water Program Syed Rashid Dawood Bukhari, Executive Director AKFP Shahid Iqbal, General Manager Media and Marketing AKFP Umair Idrees, General Manager Programs AKFP Sufyan Ahmed Khan and Manager RMD AKFP Khubaib Bilal were also present on the occasion.
After the MoU signing ceremony, the Askari Bank delegation also expressed an intention to further extend their support towards Akhidmat Foundation Pakistan in various fields.
Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust in collaboration with Life Hospital Trust arranged a Free Eye Checkup Camp at Karamat Colony, Lahore. Under the supervision of experts the camps served more than 650 patients. After detailed eye examination 61 patients were suggested surgery while 300 patients were given medical treatment and free eyeglasses. Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan will sponsor the operation of all referred patients.
