AKFP Donates 20 Wheelchairs to Paraplegic Centre Peshawar

Peshawar: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter has donated as many as 20 wheelchairs to Paraplegic Centre Peshawar. The hospital works for rehabilitation and facilitation of the people with physical disabilities.

The wheelchairs were handed over to the Administrator Paraplegic Centre Peshawar, Dr. Ilyas Syed, by AKFP KPK chapter President Khalid Waqas.

It is also worth mentioning here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan provides free wheelchairs to the needy and poor physically challenged people under its Community Services program. In 2016 alone, the AKFP distributed 2,200 wheelchairs across Pakistan.


AKFP Undertakes Relief Work After Charsadda Flooding

Charsadda: The volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan conducted rescue and relief operation in Tangi area of Charsadda district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after a flood struck earlier this week. More than 20 houses have been wrecked as a result.

The AKFP is providing urgent relief and food to the victims to resume normal life while the fear of further flooding remains intact. On the other hand, the Disaster Management teams of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan are ready to face with challenge of natural calamity across Pakistan.


AKFP distributes Eid Gifts among orphan children in Lower Dir

Lower Dir: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in collaboration with UKIM distributed Eid Gifts among orphan children in Lower Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. As many as 128 orphans benefited from the distribution.

Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir Attaur Rehman was chief guest at the gifts distribution ceremony while District Nazim Muhammad Rasool Khan was also present. The activity was undertaken by AKFP Lower Dir chapter.


Massive Peshawar Donor Conference Raises Over Rs.50 Million Funds For Alkhdimat Orphan Care Program

Peshawar: Once again taking lead against all other regions, the Alkhidmat Foundation Peshawar has raised over Rs.50 Million funds at Alkhidmat Donor Conference held in Peshawar on Tuesday night. Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan President Abdus Shakoor, local and top officials of the AKFP participated in the event where a large number of distinguished guests were present. The of the collected donations will be utilized for sponsorship of orphan children under Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is currently sponsoring 7,200 orphan children at 8 Aghosh Homes and under Orphan Family Support Program jointly. Meanwhile another four Aghosh Homes are in final phases of their construction and six more orphanages have also been planned.


Over Rs.20 Million Funds Raised at Charsadda Donor Conference

Charsadda: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has raised more than 20 Million rupees at a donor conference held in Charsadda on Friday. The charity event was attended by a large number of locals and officials of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. This was eighth donor conference held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) conference as part of AKFP’s fundraising campaign 2017.

It may also be noted here that the funds raised at the donor conference will be spent on sponsorship of orphan children under Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Orphan Care Program. The program sponsors over 7,200 orphans across the country.


Over Rs.20 million funds raised at Mansehra charity dinner

Mansehra: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has raised over Rs.20 million funds for its Orphan Care Program at charity dinner held in Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The event was attended by large number of local and central officials of the AKFP while renowned columnist Orya Maqbool Jan appeared as a special guest. The raised funds also included a plot worth Rs.10 million.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is sponsoring more than 7,000 orphan children at its orphanages and orphan family support program. The sponsored kids are provided with best residential, educational and recreational facilities.

AKFP arranged health screening camp for orphans in Malakand

Malakand: Alkhidmat Foundation Malakand arranged a health screening camp for Orphan Children in collaboration with IHH. Mr. Usman Farooq, Manager Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program KPK supervised the activity. Children were given the facility of physical medical checkup where a panel of professional doctors prescribed appropriate medicine and physical activities to ensure their health.

Alkhidmat ambulance service starts in Shabqadar, Charsadda

Charsadda: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has started its ambulance service in Shabqadar area of Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to facilitate the locals to cope with any emergency situation or natural calamities. The ambulance service will be available to everybody without any discrimination on the basis of religion, clan, caste or color.

It may also be noted here that AKFP has a fleet of around 300 ambulances across the country, especially in remote and hilly areas, and the ambulance service can be availed through free helpline 1023.


President AKF Buner visited Alkhidmat MCHC In Timergara

Timergara: Mr. Zarfarosh Khan, President AKF Buner visited Alkhidmat Mother and Child Healthcare Center Timergara. He inspected all the equipment, machinery and medicine in the stock. He also checked staff attendance record and daily OPD register of the center. He expressed his satisfaction with the work and services of the center.
