Gilgit Baltistan: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Gilgit Baltistan chapter arranged a special ceremony to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities, where CM GB Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman participated as chief guest. A rally was also taken out to highlight the issues of the special persons. Later on, gifts were also distributed among children with disabilities.
GilgatBaltistan: Despite harsh weather and continuous snowfall in Astore valley, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Gilgit Baltistan chapter continued relief activities for the victims of recent fire incident in Chamrot area of the valley. Along with local representatives of AKFP, Parliamentary Secretary for Health Barkat Jameel and Commissioner Diamer division Abdul Waheed Shah were also present on the occasion. The relief goods distributed among the victim families included food packages, warm clothes and tarpaulins.
Gilgit: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan took immediate steps to provide necessary relief to the victims of flash floods during months of July and August in different areas in Gilgit Baltistan. The provided relief goods included Food Packages, Tarpaulin Sheets, Tents, Kitchen Sets and Medical Camp facilities. As many as 250 families benefitted from the relief activities. AKFP undertook relief work in Manikal Darel, Badswat Ishkoman, Immit Ishkoman, Bargo Gilgit, Sherqilla Ghizer and Bilhanz Ghizer areas of Gilgit Baltistan.
Ghazar Valley: The volunteers of #Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan have kicked off a rescue and relief operation for the victims Ghazar valley, Gilgit Baltistan where a flood-like situation has surfaced as result of melting of ice glaciers. Relief goods have also been dispatched to the affected areas. The activities are being undertaken in collaboration of Pakistan Army.
