Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan arranged multiple sessions as part of Summer Social Responsibility Program for the street children of Alkhidmat Child Protection Center, Sabzazar, Lahore. The sessions were focused on Social Responsibility, Personal Safety and Personal Hygiene. A number of outdoor activities were also arranged as part of the sessions.
Lahore: The students of different universities visited #Alkhidmat Child Protection Center, Sabzazar, Lahore.
The Students spent time with the street children studying at the center and undertook different activities including tree plantation and coloring.
Islamabad: A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) signed August 2nd 2018 in Islamabad.
Head faculty SMME and Director NUST Club Dr. Mohammad Safdar added that the MOU will open more opportunities for the students of National University of Sciences and Technology to groom themselves in social and development sector. He appreciated AKFP work in Pakistan. He said that NUST will fully cooperate with AKFP in every field whether it’s an AKFP promotions, training, Medical camping, Volunteer engagement or project research or fund raising.

Lahore : Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has inaugurated First Model Study Center in Lahore. In this Child Character Development Program, 60 orphan children registered with Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore participated.

Peshawar: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, in collaboration with Child Protection and Rehabilitation Trust (CPRT), has inaugurated a new Child Protection Center in Peshawar. Peshawar District Nazim Arbab Muhammad Asim inaugurated the center while AKFP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Khalid Waqas and CPRT Founder Dr. Altaf Qadir Khatak were also present on the occasion. The center will be dedicated to provide basic educational and rehabilitation facilities to the street children to prepare them to join formal schools.
Rawalpindi: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan arranged a workshop on the “Effective Management of Child Protection Centers” at Alkhidmat Disaster Management Center, Rawalpindi. AKFP President Muhammad Abdus Shakoor was also present on the occasion.
The purpose of the activity was to review progress of AKFP Child Protection Centers in all regions of the country and preparation of syllabus and activities-based calender for the betterment of the street children. Different organization were also engaged for this purpose.
Gujranwala: In a bid to ensure education for street children, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Punjab chapter has successfully inaugurated another Alkhidmat Child Protection and Rehabilitation Center in district Gujranwala. The center will responsible for provision of basic education facilities to the street children free of cost. Locals and representatives of the AKFP were present at the inaugural ceremony. On the occasion, books and winter clothes were also distributed among the street children.
Mr. Yaqoob, President Alkhidmat Dir Lower, visited the district headquarter jail along with his team. Alkhidmat Foundation distributed the curricular books among the children and the youth there. Plans were also discussed ablut establishing an islamic library center for women and toy center for the children.
