Therparker is the only district in Pakistan where our brothers in minority (Hindu community) are in a largest number. This much backward area is lacking in Education, Water, Health and food since a long time. The living of its inhabitants mostly depends upon Cattle keeping. In the drought circumstances cattle get deceased by famine. Veterinary services are absent there. Alkhidmat has concentrated this region in Sindh. It has dug and operated more than 1200 Water well, Hand pump and submersible pumps. For health facilities Alkhidmat constructed a superb Hospital and Medical complex in Mithi where diagnosis and cure are totally free of cost. To support them economically we use to arrange there veterinary camps.
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan recently arranged a veterinary camp with the collaboration of a sister NGO of Turkey (TIKA). The purpose of such activities is to get the minorities feel as fellow citizens. And the sense that these minorities are part of us as a nation. Our Religion and conscious guide us to deal with them nicely. We want them to tell the world that they avail all opportunities of peaceful and prosperous life as a citizens of Pakistan. This is a source of the pleasure of ALLAH and a source of making Pakistan strong as well.
