Over 5 Lakh People Benefitted From Alkhidmat Qurbani Project 2017

Lahore: As many as 544,752 people were benefitted from Alkhidmat Qurbani Fee Sabil Lilah Project 2017 on the occasion of this Eid-ul-Adha. The Qurbani animals, cows and goats, were donated by generous people from across the world.

According to the consolidated data, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan organized Qurbani Fee Sabil Lilah in all four provinces of Pakistan, Gilgit Baltisitan, Federally Administered Areas (FATA), Azad Kashmir. Qurbani Project 2017 was also undertaken for Syrian Refugees in Turkey and for Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh in collaboration with Turkish partner welfare organizations.

It is also worth mentioning here that last year Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan had reached out more than 585,000 people through its Qurbani Fee Sabil Lilah Project.



AKFP Sindh Chapter Distributes 15 Wheelchairs In Tando Adam

Tando Adam: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Sindh chapter distributed as many as 15 wheelchairs among needy and deserving physically challenged persons in Tando Adam. The wheelchairs were provided in collaboration with Free Wheelchairs Mission. On the occasion, President AKFP Tando Adam chapter Syed Tauheed Shah, Chairmen Municipal Corporation Masroor Ahsan Ghouri and JI’s Abdul Qafoor Ansari were also present.


AKFP Donates 20 Wheelchairs to Paraplegic Centre Peshawar

Peshawar: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter has donated as many as 20 wheelchairs to Paraplegic Centre Peshawar. The hospital works for rehabilitation and facilitation of the people with physical disabilities.

The wheelchairs were handed over to the Administrator Paraplegic Centre Peshawar, Dr. Ilyas Syed, by AKFP KPK chapter President Khalid Waqas.

It is also worth mentioning here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan provides free wheelchairs to the needy and poor physically challenged people under its Community Services program. In 2016 alone, the AKFP distributed 2,200 wheelchairs across Pakistan.


AKFP Reached Out Over 2.5 Lakh Needy People During Ramadan 2017

Lahore: With a full momentum to implement its mission of service to humanity with integrity, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan reached our as many as 262,011 needy and underprivileged people across Pakistan under it Ramadan Relief Package 2017. The project comprised of Food Packages distributions, Community Iftars and Fitrana distributions, and was implemented by AKFP’s Community Services program in collaboration with local and international partners.

According to details, 108,372 people benefited from Ramadan Food Packages, 110,660 from Community Iftars and 42,979 from Fitrana distribution in all four provinces of the country, Gilgit Baltistan, FATA and Azad Kashmir. The project continued throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

It is also worth mentioning here that Alkhidmat Community Services program is dedicated to provide urgent aid to local and internal communities in the need of hour including minorities in Pakistan. In 2016 only, more than 760,000 people had benefited from the Community Services program.


Eid Gifts Distributed Among Orphan Children In Multan

Multan: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in collaboration with UK Islamic Mission (UKIM) has successfully distributed Eid Gifts among orphan children in Multan. More than 60 orphan families benefited.

At the gifts distribution, Muhammad Ahmad Chughtai (Senior Vice President AKFP Multan chapter), Justice (retired) Zafar Yaseen, Waseem Ul Haq Rimzi (District Officer Health Multan), Afzaal Mughal and Dr. Wali Muhammad (General Secretary AKFP Multan chapter) were present while families of the orphan children were also invited.

Grand Iftar dinner was also served among participant at the end of the Eid Gifts distribution ceremony.

AKFP Distributes Ramadan Food Packages Among Rohingya Community

Lahore:Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has successfully distributed Ramadan Food Packages among the state-less people of Rohingya community earlier this week. As many as 500 refugee families benefited from the distribution.

According to details, the food packages have been distributed in collaboration with AKFP’s partner Turkish organization CANSUYU. The food packages consist of rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil and other dry food items for a family to fulfill its needs of a month.

Since 2012, when the Rohingya refugees crisis began in Burma, ALkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has continuously been undertaking relief projects for the persecuted community along with its partner NGOs in Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey. These protects include installation of water projects, distribution of shelters, food packages and eid gifts.


AKFP, Yardimeli Distribute Ramadan Food Package Among 100 Families In Tharparkar, Sindh

Mithi: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan distributed Ramadan Food Packages  among as many as 100 needy and deserving families of Tharparkar, Sindh. 100 copies of the Holy Quran were also given away at a local mosque on the occasion. The project was sponsored by Turkish NGO Yardimeli.

Each food package includes Rice, wheat flour, sugar, cooking oil and dry ration for the use of a family for a duration of one month approximately. The distribution of Ramadan Food Packages has been undertaken under Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Community Service program. More than 760,000 people including minorities benefited from this program in 2016.


AKFP distributes Eid Gifts among orphan children in Lower Dir

Lower Dir: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in collaboration with UKIM distributed Eid Gifts among orphan children in Lower Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. As many as 128 orphans benefited from the distribution.

Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir Attaur Rehman was chief guest at the gifts distribution ceremony while District Nazim Muhammad Rasool Khan was also present. The activity was undertaken by AKFP Lower Dir chapter.

Alkhidmat Foundation Gifts Eidi To Orphan Children & Their Teachers

Lahore, 04-07-2016:  Alkhidmat Foundation held an Eidi distribution ceremony at Bethak School Baghrian. 262 school children and school teachers were gifted Eidi on behalf of Alkhidmat Foundation—a tradition Alkhidmat Foundation has kept alive for years. Syed Ehsan Ullah Waqas (Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation) participated in the ceremony was the chief guest along with local administration of Alkhidmat Foundation and a large number of students and teachers. Mr. Waqas said that he was pleased to share Eid’s joys on behalf of Alkhidmat Foundation with orphan children and their teachers.  Note that Bethak schools were made by Alkhidmat Foundation and thousands of children benefit from these schools.
