Malakand: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Malakand chapter arranged a donor conference to raise funds as part of 2018 Fundraising Campaign. A large number of locals and AKFP volunteers participated in the event. Funds over PKR 9.1 million worth were raised on the occasion. The funds will be used for sponsorship of orphan children under Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program.
Chitral: Following the flash floods in Jangarait Drosh, Chitral, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has started distributing relief goods among the affected families. In the first phase of provision of relief goods, the Alkhidmat Volunteers distributed Food Packages which comprised of necessary edible items to meet the needs of a family for a month. Local officials of AKFP are supervising the relief activities.

Islamabad: A two-member delegation of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan visited NUST Islamabad campus and held meeting with NUST officials to seek ways of mutual collaboration between AKFP and National University of Science and Technology (NUST). During the meeting AKFP officials gave a presentation on AKFP’s 7 service areasand explained how NUST and Alkhidmat can work together for development of deprived communities.
Dr. Muhammad Safdar faculty head of NUST appreciated AKFP delegation for giving NUST a chance to collaborate and coordinate for betterment of poor communities. He appreciated AKFP work in Pakistan and abroad the way Alkhidmat is doing for communities is unique of its kind. Safdar also explained that how and in which areas NUST could make collaboration with AKFP for better results and outcomes. He expressed his views about MoU and working partnership with AKFP
On the occasion, Alkhidmat officials also briefed the NUST officials on how AKFP is engaged in serving the Syrians and wanted to build an Aghosh Home for Syrian Children in Gaziantep Turkey, in response to which Dr. Safdar said that we would like to work with Alkhidmat Foundation on Syria Relief as well. He also expressed his interest to jointly start an Aghosh Home for Syrian orphan children in Gaziantep Turkey.
Istanbul, Turkey: Expanding its Aghosh Home-like services to an international level, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has decided to open an orphanage dedicated to provide residential, educational and other basic facilities to Syrian children who have lost their fathers in ongoing Syrian civil war. The orphanage will be established in Turkey’s Gaziantep city which borders with Syria.
During his recent visit to Turkey, AKFP Executive Director Shahid Iqbal held a meeting with HAYRAT Foundation, Turkey on this matter and visited the orphanage currently being managed by the Turkish NGO. Both sides also discussed the functioning and related procedures of the orphanage.
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Orphan Care Program is already running state-of-the- art Aghosh Homes as well as home-based orphan sponsorship program across Pakistan.
Şanli Urfa, Turkey: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Executive Director Shahid Iqbal visited Suleiman Shah Refugee Camp for Syrian Families in Şanli Urfa, Turkey and distributed relief goods comprising Food Packages among the refugees.
During the visit, AKFP ED Shahid Iqbal also visited the medical center established for the Syrian Refugees. He also held a meeting with the management of the camp and exchanged his views regarding services being provided to the Syrian Refugees inside Turkey.
Şanli Urfa, located on the Turkey-Syria border near Tell Abiad city of Syria, is home to more than 600,000 Syrian Refugees. Suleiman Shah Refugee Camp is providing basic facilities to over 30,000 Syrian Refugees.

Funds over PKR 5.1 million worth were raised on the occasion. The funds will be used for sponsorship of orphan children under Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program.
Lahore: Street children getting their basic education at Alkhidmat Child Protection and Rehabilitation Centers in Lahore visited Cinepex Cinema, Lake View City to watch”Markhor” series . The activity was sponsored by the employees of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL). The families of the PTCL employees also attended the activity and arranged lunch boxes for the children.
Rawalpindi: Alkhidmat DMC with the collaboration of Khadija Foundation has organized a free Hepatitis-B Vaccination Camp at Aghosh Alkhidmat Rawalpindi, where Dr. Seemal and his expert team medically examined the children and vaccinated them. As many as 46 children and 8 staff members were vaccinated on the occasion.
Lower Dir: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Lower Dir chapter arranged a Free Eye Camp in tehsil Adenzaey. More than 400 needy patients were examined by expert doctors while 25 medical operation were also performed on the occasion. The patients were also provided with required medicines and eye glasses free of cost.
