Inauguration Of Alkhidmat Razi Hospital Islamabad On August 19

Islamabad: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is all set to inaugurate its state-of-the-art Alkhidmat Razi Hospital Islamabad on August 19, 2017 (Saturday). The inauguration ceremony will be held at CBR Town, Islamabad while renowned columnist Orya Maqbool Jan and famous Pakistan cricketer Fakhar Zaman will be chief guests.

On the occasion, AKFP President Abdus Shakoor, AKFP Punjab chapter President Rao Muhammad Zafar, Chairman Health Board Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, AKFP islamabad chapter President Nasrullah Randhawa and JIP’s Mian Muhammad Aslam will also be present.

It is also worth mentioning here that it is a 60-bed hospital will provide basic to high level healthcare facilities to the patients without any discrimination. AKFP is currently running a number of healthcare projects including 19 hospitals, and in 2016 alone more than 6.3 million people benefited from these facilities across Pakistan.


AKFP Women Wing Ambassadors Visit Aghosh Alkhidmat Sheikupura

Sheikhupura: As many as 18 ambassadors of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Women Wing visited Aghosh Alkhidmat Sheikupura and met with the orphan children residing at the orphanage. The visiting delegation was led by AKFP WW President Talat Zaheer and Kalsoom Ranjha (Secretary General, AKFP WW).
On the occasion, AKFP Volunteers Management Program arranged special orientation session for the visitors to brief them about facilities being provided to the orphans and other projects being undertaken by AKFP Women Wing.
A detailed medical checkup of orpahn children was also carried out by a Volunteer Doctor. Afterwards, volunteers celebrated the birthday of an orphan and ate lunch with the orphan children.
Earlier, before departure to Aghosh Alkhidmat Sheikhupura, the volunteers and officials of AKFP Women Wing also held a meeting with AKFP president Abdus Shakoor and AKFP Secretary General Dr. Mushtaq Mangat at Lahore Head Office.

AKFP Secretary General Mushtaq Mangat Reviews Aghosh Alkhidmat Gujranwala Construction Work

Gujranwala: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Secretary General Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat has visited Aghosh Alkhidmat Gujranwala, under-construction orphanage of the AKFP, and reviewed progress in ongoing work. The project is stretched at an area over 6 kanal and expected to be completed in September this year.

During the visit, the officials overseeing the construction work briefed the Secretary General about facilities which will be available to the orphan children at the orphanage. He expressed his satisfaction towards the work progress and efforts of the workers.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is currently running 8 orphan homes in different cities of Pakistan where more than 700 orphan children are being provided with educational, residential and recreational facilities. Four more such projects are under construction while 5 orphanages are in planning phase. In a separate program, Orphan Family Support Program, the AKFP is sponsoring more than 6,200 orphan children.


AKFP Distributes Interest Free Loans Among 30 Traders

Multan: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Multan chapter has distributed interest-free loans cheques among as many as 30 local traders. Collectively loans worth PKR 700,000 were disbursed on the occasion.

Jamshed Hayat (Advocate Supreme Court Pakistan), Mian Munir Ahmad Bodla, Dr. Safdar Iqbal Hashmi (President AKF Multan), Muhammad Ahmad Chughtai (Senior Vice President AKF Multan), Dr. Wali Muhammad (General Secretary AKF Multan) and Naeem Chishti (Incharge Mawakhat Program) distributed cheques among the traders at a ceremony held in Multan. The loans will help beneficiaries boost their businesses.


Shabqadar: AKFP’s Rescue Operation Underway Amid Heavy Floods

Peshawar: The volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan have kicked off rescue and relief operation in Shabqadar amid heavy floods caused by rainstorm. Apart from rescue of the people stranded in their inundated houses, things of immediate including food are being provided to the affected people.

Meanwhile, AKFP KPK chapter President Khalid Waqas also visited the area to review relief activities. He expressed his satisfaction towards the hard work of Alkhidmat Volunteers and appreciated their passion for service to humanity.


AKFP President Abdush Shakoor, Secretary General Mushtaq Mangat Distribute Relief Goods Among Rain Affected Families In Hubb

Hubb: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan President Abdus Shakoor and Secretary General Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat distributed relief goods among the families affected by rainstorm in Hubb, Balochistan. A large number of locals and workers of ALkhidmat Foundation Pakistan were present on the occasion. The relief goods distributed among the needy people included food items and things of daily usage such as utensils.


AKFP Volunteers Management Begins Orientation Sessions For CUST Students

Islamabad: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Volunteers Management Islamabad chapter has initiated orientation sessions for the students of Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) at different locations in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
As many as 46 students participated in the first three orientations held at Bharakaho Wise College, Aghosh Alkhidmat Rawalpindi and Alkhidmat Disaster Management Center Rawalpindi.
Following the successful orientations, the interested students will be placed at different offices of ALkhidmat Foundation Pakistan to work as volunteers. The students will undertake 65 hours of assigned tasks at the humanitarian projects.
It is also worth mentioning here that AKFP and CUST had earlier signed a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to undertake relief and volunteer activities jointly.

AKFP Secretary General Dr. Mushtaq Mangat Visits Diagnostic Center, Mansehra

Mansehra: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Secretary General Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat visited Alkhidmat Charity Australia Diagnostic Center, Mansehra and reviewed the quality of medical facilities being provided to the poor patients. He also wrote his remarks in the comments book. The Secretary General advised the lab’s staff to provide best possible facilities to the ailing people.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is running over 100 diagnostic and collection centers across Pakistan to provide best healthcare facilities under its Health Services program.


AKF Sindh Arranges One-Day Media Workshop

Karachi: The media and marketing department of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Sindh chapter arranged a one-day Media Workshop for its district media coordinators at Regional Office, Quba Complex, Karachi. Renowned media persons including Azam Gondal, Syed Suhail Balkhi, Altaf Khan Mujahid, Mujahid Channa, Riaz Siddiqui, Noman Khan Lodhi attended the workshop and delivered lectures on crucial matters related to promotion of AKFP’s humanitarian services, media coverage and advanced tools of marketing. Participation certificates were also distributed among participants at the end of the workshop.


AKFP, Turkish NGOs Renew Bid To Work Together

Ankara: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and its partner Turkish N-n-Government Orpganizations (NGOs) have reaffirmed their commitment to closely work together for the cause of service to humanity. The representatives of the humanitarian relief organizations agreed to materialize their mutual cooperation unto a new higher level amid growing crisis around the globe.

According to details, AKFP Executive Director Shahid Iqbal is in Turkey these day, where is holding crucial meetings with the officials of Turkish non-profit organizations. Over the weekend, he met ILKDER’s President Ozden Sonmez, Turkey Diyanet Foundation’s Vice General Director Murat Uyar and Eğitim Bir Sen’s Vice Presidents Latif Selvi and Hasan Yalçın Yayla.

Shahid Iqbal’s meeting are aimed at renewal of AKFP’s commitments of bilateral cooperation with Turkish NOGs. Earlier, he held meetings with the representatives of Ihals Foundation, UNIW, FIMA, Besir Foundation and IYILIKDER.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan enjoys close partnership with aid agencies around the world. This relationship not only lets the AKFP to undertake humanitarian relief work across the globe but also helps international NGOs to participate in aid activities inside Pakistan.
