The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward.” (Ahmad and Al-Nasai, also verified by Al-Albani)
While Muslims around the world are fasting during Ramadan, it is a worrisome fact that thousands of people in Pakistan have to fast during the holy month without tasting any good foods. The extremely high temperature during this summer is expected to further worsen the hardships of destitute community.
Last year, with the help of many generous people from across Pakistan and outside, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan had managed to share the joys of Ramadan with over 65,000 people in the form of Ramadan Food Package, Iftar Programs and Eid Gifts. The beneficiaries of the relief package also included Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of tribal areas and extremely poor families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir.
This year as well, the AKFP has launched the Ramadan Food Package 2017 to reach out the deserving individuals across Pakistan. The program consists of three levels to ensure that needy Muslims can also mark this Ramadan in the best way possible. We need your ample support in this mission. You can send your donations for:
