Islamabad: In a bid to fulfill the educational, residential and recreational needs of female orphans and provide them with equal opportunities to shape their future, the ALkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has successfully inaugurated Aghosh Alkhidmat Islamabad on Saturday. A special ceremony was held in Islamabad to this effect, where Vice Chancellor Riphah International University & Chairman Orphan Care Program AKFP Professor Dr Anis Ahmad appeared a s chief guest. AKFP President Muhammad Abdus Shakoor, President AKF Women Wing Trust Mrs Navida Anis, President AKFP Women Wing Talat Zaheer, General Secretary AKFP Women Wing Kalsoom Ranjha and Director Orphan Care Program AKFP Shakir Siddiqui and a large number of locals were also present on the occasion.
It may also be noted here Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan manages orphanages across the country where children without parents are provided with best educational and residential facilities. AKFP is currently running 8 Aghosh Centers across Pakistan providing boarding and lodging to 635 orphans whereas around 7000 orphan children are getting various services through Orphan Family Support Program.
