Lahore: The central executive committee of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has taken a notice and expressed deep grief on the reports regarding destruction and casualties in parts of Baluchistan due to heavy rains and flood-like situation. AKFP has immediately kicked off a disaster management and relief operation in the affected areas to make an assessment of the losses incurred. Initially rescue teams have reached Quetta, Noshki, Khuzdar, Pishin, Ziarat, Qila Abdullah and surrounding areas. The reports suggest that more than 300 houses have been completely destroyed and 4 people have died while dozens have sustained serious injuries. People have been forced to spend their lives under the open sky as a result of the massive destruction. Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan calls on the generous people from around the world to come forward and make donations to support the flood-affected people in this difficult time.
