10-year-old Bonded Labourer Returns to School After AKFP’s Intervention

Upper Dir: Following the publication of a news report about 10-year-old bonded labourer in Mardan district, local volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan paid his family’s debt and got him free of the so-called contract. The AKFP has also provided Jalaluddin with school books and other necessary things, and now he has been admitted to class 4 in a local school in Upper Dir. The AKFP will continue to provide necessary support to Jalaluddin and his family. It may also be noted here that Jalaluddin’s father Sheroo Kaka is a cancer patient and he had contracted his son into bonded labour against a debt of PKR 50,000.
